Why Slowing Down Is the Secret to More Energy

Most people go on holiday and come back exhausted.
I went to Busan and returned with more energy than I’ve had in months because I did one thing differently.
I slowed down.
This is my kind of holiday:
• I’m not a shopper; I love nature, sightseeing, and exploring the city.
• I walked the coastal hiking trail, feeling the sea breeze lift my thoughts.
• I paused at every viewpoint, letting the ocean’s endless horizon remind me how small our stresses really are.
• I captured moments of sunset over the beach and the simple joy of watching the waves roll in.
The video shows these snapshots: rugged cliffs, skywalks that let you see the ocean below your feet, and the delicious food of Busan.
When we strip away the noise, no endless shopping lists, no over planned itineraries, we make space for presence.
• Intentional simplicity clears mental clutter.
• Nature’s rhythm is a natural antidote to the burnout we often feel in high-performing workplaces.
• Pauses act like “reset buttons” for resilience.
Seeing the world’s beauty on my trip reminded me how beautiful life truly is and I’m grateful.
I came home lighter, calmer, and energized, ready to live from a place of rest, not rush.
What’s one thing you do on holiday that truly helps you recharge?
