Rich in Living

Some places stay in your heart for years, quietly, waiting.
10 years ago, I came across photos of Zhangjiajie, misty mountains that looked like a fairyland.
Since then, it has been on my list of places I wanted to visit.
And this year, that day finally came.

Surrounded by towering, majestic mountains, I felt a deep sense of peace, and it reminded me how beautiful life is.
I felt grateful, simply to be here, to see, to feel.

I walked across the glass bridge, looking down at the mountains beneath my feet.
I took the zipline across the canyon.
It was scary.
But I did it anyway, overcoming my fear.
The experience was rewarding.
And the memory stays.

Stepping away from our routine and into the wonders of the world remind us:

  • Life is not meant to be rushed through

  • There is beauty beyond what we are used to

  • Joy lives in moments we allow ourselves to experience

And sometimes, it’s not about avoiding fear.
It’s about embracing challenges…
and discovering that the reward on the other side is always worth it.

When something lives in your heart, make space for it, especially while we still have the energy.

To experience life.

To live fully.

That’s what being The Careful Rich feels like to me.
Rich in moments.
Rich in courage.
Rich in a life fully lived.

What’s something you’ve been waiting for someday?
